A 26-week training course on "O&M in Transmisson and Distribution Systems" is introduced for electrical graduates in Power Systems Training Institute (PSTI) catering to the needs of the Transmission and needs of the Transmission and Distribution industry. It is designed to provide readily trained manpower and also includes the mandatory requirements of a Sub-Station engineer as per IE Rules. The course provides a good avenue to fresh electrical graduates to remain in their chosen field. The industry also responded positively by offering placements.
