Synthesis Winding Technologies Pvt Ltd,a Bangalore based manufacturer and exporter of Automatic winding machines, have designed and developed an Automatic HV Coil Winding Machine for Distribution Transformers with a radical graded layer insulation technique.rnIn this machine, entire winding including interlayer insulation and end filler can be completed without any manual intervention. The insulation strip first winds the insulation layer and then the same strip winds the end filler.rnThe insulation strip moves at a variable pitch during the forming of the layer insulation to give a proportionately varying insulation thickness suitable for the voltage differential (with reference to the next layer at that point). This method gives several advantages.
