CTs are manufactured using high grade CRGO toroidal cores, carefully processed in neutral atmosphere thereby ensuring low losses. CTs are manufactured in many versions such as tape wound. Resin cast type, ABS moulded cases for bus bar mounting and miniature CTs both for metering & protection application. They are manufactured having primary current ratings up to 6000A & secondary 5A or 1Amp. Accuracy class offered is from 0.5 onwards. Portable versions for laboratory applications are also available.
