PD monitoring of Power Transformers at site

摘要

In recent years a significant progress has been made in the non-conventional PD measuring techniques for novel applications on-site and on-line applications in both measurement and monitoring of diverse high voltage apparatus to measure and assess the condition changes of insulation systems even under the noisiest field-conditions. PD test on power transformers using UHF techniques has a definite advantage when measurements are done in noisy field conditions without taking a shutdown as can be seen from the case studies.
