摘要

The effects of variations in sag, tension and dropper spacing on the performance of dynamically scaled model overhead equipment have been determined from the results of over 600 test runs. The limiting speed of simple equipment under optimised conditions has been found to be 115 mile/h when used with a standard British Rail pantograph.
