Tektronix has announced a new end-to-end highspeed serial-data-analysis-software package with test capabilities that extend from transmitter to receiver, including the connecting channel. The package, 80SJNB Advanced, is the latest version of 80SJNB (8000-series instrument software for jitter, noise, and BER, or bit-error-ratio) measurement. It runs on the manufacturer's DSA8200 digital serial analyzer, an ultrawide-bandwidth sequential-sampling oscilloscope.
