NECA Holds Successful Safety Conference, Recognizes National Safety Month

The Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio was the most important destination in the country for safety personnel during the 9th annual NECA Safety Professionals Conference, held this year on May 15-17. An impressive group of nearly 250 managers of safety and health programs and other company representatives gathered for three days to network with peers and discuss their work while taking part in world-class safety educational opportunities. Keynote speakers included National Fire Protection Association President Jim Pauley, Carol Cambridge of the Stay Safe Project and Scott Ketcham, the acting director for the Occupational Health and Safety Administration's Directorate of Construction. "The conference was received extremely well, and it continues to grow each year," NECA Director of Safety Wesley L. Wheeler said. "It was motivating to see so many professionals in the electrical industry that are committed to making the world a safer place."
