Working with Regulators and Consumer Advocates to Smooth the Road for EVs

The growing electrification of the transportation sector is one of the most exciting trends in our industry. But, maximizing the benefits of electric transportation for our customers will require a wide range of detailed issues to be addressed. This year, that's where the Critical Consumer Issues Forum (CCIF) comes in. CCIF is a forum that brings together state energy regulators, consumer advocates, and electric companies to work toward consensus on how to solve some of the industry's current challenges. The effort is organized with input from members of the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates (NASUCA) and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), and provides a forum to discuss timely and emerging regulatory issues affecting customers. Each year, EEI staff and member company representatives participate.
