As our nation greets a new decade, amid a political landscape marked by discord and conflict in Washington, I remain as optimistic for the future of America as I am for the future of our industry. Seventy-five years ago, in an atmosphere of far greater uncertainty and while confronting far more dangerous adversaries, General Dwight D. Eisenhower inspired his soldiers: "The eyes of the world are upon you.... We will accept nothing less than full victory!" Though the Allies faced a long and difficult road to achieve that victory, Eisenhower's words rang true for millions then, and they continue to ring true today.
