Editorial

摘要

As we reach the final edition of my first year as Editor-in-Chief, I look back over the year and wonder why I took on this role in addition to my "day job". The role has been a real challenge, due in part to the change of Editor-in-Chief occurring at the same time as Education and Information Technologies (EAIT) moved from hardcopy submissions to electronic submission: and hardcopy reviewing of papers to an online system for reviewers and authors. Without a doubt, the new system is both cost and time effective but we have had one or two problems that are now hopefully resolved and I would like to thank all contributors and potential contributors for their patience. Reviewing of papers is obviously a very important aspect of maintaining high academic standards in a journal like EAIT, and I would like to thank the Editorial Board and reviewers for their help and assistance throughout my first year. However, we are continually looking for new reviewers for papers, so if you feel you could help with this please contact me (i.d.selwood@bham.ac.uk).
