Wire, Sinker and Fast Hole EDM's all utilize both air and liquids in their operations. Thus, if you maintain any form of EDM, you'll likely note that within the workings of these machines is often a maze of hoses, pipes, and tubing, along with their associated fittings. At some point, as these machines age, you'll likely be confronted with repair tasks involving these items. The purpose of this treatise is to provide the reader with some basic information about these fluid handling items, including basic terminology, applications and limitations.
