LinkBank: URL Link Maintenance

I've often yearned for a good, solid, soup-to-nuts "database appliance" approach to maintaining hypertext and Web links. I've written about this in the past, starting with my 1991 Ph.D. dissertation, and never quite dropped the idea that there's got to be an easier way to do this! I long ago faced the reality that I'm not a computer whiz and I can't do it myself. I'm a good Power User of other people's whiz-bang applications, but I will never be one of those folks who can knock out a quick PERL script, C++ utility, or Visual Basic application.
