IT IS tempting to write off recent events at Harvard University as another harmless example of the dotty cult of political correctness.After all,since America has the best universities in the world(albeit largely by default:see page 63),the odd faculty tantrum seems a small price to pay.Alas,Harvard's problem is far more serious than that.
