Bosses in the aviation industry and their government counterparts have had a tricky relationship since September nth 2001. Knee-jerk reactions from politicians have caused headaches aplenty. By chance, both groups met in Frankfurt at this year's avsec, a conference on aviation security, just after news of the Yemeni-launched parcel bombs broke.
