Emmanuel Macron's movement came first with 32% of the vote in the first round of France's legislative elections. The result puts the president's party, La Republique en Marche!, on track for the largest majority ever in the National Assembly after the second round on June 18th. The centre-right Republicans came second, while the far-right National Front led by Marine Le Pen was sidelined.
