Buck regulators integrate zero-voltage switching into PoL devices

Vicor Corporation introduced its Picor PI33XX Cool-Power ZVS buck regulator series for high efficiency point of load DC/DC regulation. A Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) topology integrated within the PI33XX Series is said to increase point of load performance, providing up to 98 percent peak power efficiency.
