摘要

Ocean floor topography, isolated from exogenic processes, reflects to a large extent the morphology of pli-cative and disjunctive structures in the oceanic crust and in volcanic seamounts. When interpreting the surface structure of the sea bottom, one should take into consideration structural data on the morphology and kinematics of the development of particular tectonic structures and their assemblages that are established on continents or experimentally reconstructed. We used the morphogenetic analogy method to solve issues of the formation of structures and volcanism in the Magellan Seamounts (MS).
