After a surge in April, ordering remained subdued in May as only three vessels were contracted during the month, of which two were converted from roro vessels. The orderbook, which is currently 9.1% of the existing tonnage, is not helping the market outlook, and the bearish outlook for the sector is expected to keep owners apprehensive about ordering fresh tonnage.
