UK NBP PRICES TO RISE ON REBOUND OF SIBERIAN COLD WAVES

Drewry expects that the UK NBP prices will inch higher in April because of prolonged winter. However, we expect gas prices in April will not reach the highs seen in February. LNG supply in Northern Europe is no longer a major issue because high imports from the US and Europe have helped to meet rising domestic demand. Future contracts for delivery in April were fixed at $4.90 per MMBtu, $0.30 per MMbtu higher than contracts fixed in February for the same period.
