1. Drewry expects charter rates for Handysize vessels to increase in4Q19 amid optimism in Capesize and VLOC rates over increase iniron ore trade on Brazil-China. While the trade has been increasing,the supply of bigger vessels has been under pressure with many linedup at the yards for retrofitting scrubbers before the IMO deadline. Thestrong rally of Capesize charter rates will push up rates for smallervessels with coal and grain cargoes taking advantage of the currentsofter Handysize rates.
