Skandi Africa named ship of the year

Offshore subsea construction vessel Skandi Africa, designed and built by Fincantieri company Vard Holdings for DOF Subsea, was named 'Ship of the Year 2015' at Nor-Shipping in Norway in June. Presented by Norwegian trade and industry minister Monica Maeland, the award recognises the ship's ability to "set new records within her field of work" and was the eighth of these trophies to go to Vard in the last 16 years.
