摘要

Nendo (Japanese for 'clay') is a studio of Japanese designers headed by 31-year old architect Oki Sato, an up-and-coming contemporary design talent.The versatility of the material that inspires the name of the group comes into its own in the design of Roll, an original counter-top sink whose design resembles a rolled up strip of paper. For Cersaie 2010 Roll was presented in a new oval version that heightens the effect of its sculptural slenderness.%Nendo (che in giapponese significa 'creta') è uno studio di designer nipponici guidati dell'architetto trentunenne Oki Sato, tra i protagonisti più dinamici del design contemporaneo. La versatilità del materiale che ispira il nome del gruppo trova pieno compimento nel progetto di Roll, un originale lavabo da appoggio che richiama nel disegno un nastro di carta arrotolato su se stesso.
