Those visiting the Superstudio Piu spaces during the recent 2013 Milan Furniture Fair were welcomed into an exciting and captivating setting, a real micro-world characterised by an atmosphere of peace and tranquility for body and soul, in sharp contrast with the frenetic pace of life being pursued outside. These delicate and deep sensations were offered by Caverna Nirvana: an entrancing display area created by COTTO, a brand belonging to the Thai group SCG, a leading international manufacturer of sanitary ware and tiles for floors and walls. Presenting at the Furniture Fair for the second year running, COTTO commissioned the design of the exhibition spaces to Chalang Kijphayak, a young Thai designer with a diploma from the Domus Academy. The installation featured the new Eramo Series and Palizza Series, the latest additions to the Marmo Granito range of revolutionary stone, one of COTTO's top lines. Unlike all the tiles in the range, the Eramo Series and Polizza Series are made using a number of sophisticated production technologies including a special moulded modelling process patented by COTTO.
