• I can't remember exactly the first time I read Domus but I think there was a point in the 1980s, when I graduated and was beginning to work, that I became very conscious of Domus as an important magazine. At that time, Modernism had been really strongly questioned and Domus took a very clear line. In a way, it was trying to rejuvenate Modernism in a critical, very selective and precise manner. In England it gave us a connection to European architecture and a great clarity, introducing people like Botta, Moneo, Siza and Snozzi. For that time, this was a great connection for us, so I think this was when I really took strong notice of Domus.
