摘要

In plants, the lipoxygenase cascade and its products, oxylipins, play an important role in cell signaling and protection. The diversity of oxylipins is determined by the function of lipoxygenase and cyto-chromes P450 of the CYP74 family. There are three known types of CYP74 enzymes: two dehydrases (divinyl ether synthase (DES) and allene oxide synthase (AOS)) and one isomerase (hydroperoxide lyase (HPL)).
