Call for Entries: First Global District Energy Climate Awards

This year for the first time, District Energy Climate Awards will be presented to cities and communities across the globe that demonstrate local district energy leadership in providing dean, sustainable energy solutions. Winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony Nov. 3 in conjunction with the District Energy Climate Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark. To be eligible for these awards, systems must have been in operation for at least two years. Award applications must be submitted to the International Energy Agency no later than Sept. 25, 2009.
