Tipping point: Part Ⅱ

For 10 years, between 2007 and 2017, I had the wonderful opportu- rnity to write this column and share my view of how the drive for sus-tainability and specifically the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED green building rating system were impacting the district energy industry. When I originally began writing, I assumed four or five columns would cover the subject. Yet, both the LEED rating program and the move toward sustainability continued to evolve. After 36 columns I finally took a break. However, so much has happened since then that it's time to reach back out to you again; and the best place to start is with an update on where we ended, a column titled "Tipping Point," published in Second Quarter 2018 District Energy.
