DC managers who don't take wireless security seriously could be leaving their systems open to data breaches and malicious attacks, according to Alan Dab-biere, chairman of Wandering WiFi, a software provider for wireless networks.rnDabbiere says one of his clients is a perfect example of such a security risk.rnWith 50 DCs located across the Midwest, the company was bound to have a few power outages now and then. When one of those outages took down the wireless net-rnwork, no one was particularly concerned.rnWhat the DC manager didn't know was that when power was restored, all of the wireless access points powered back up into their factory default modes -which meant the points were no longer secure.
