Stage-specific Expression of the Mouse Ywhaz and ATPase 6 Genes During Preimplantation Development

Mus musculus tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/trytophan 5-monooxygenasc activation protein, zeta polypeptidc (Ywhaz) is related to communication among blastomercs and contributes to buildup of cellular communication system, and ATPase 6 is essential for one cell to two-cell transition and play an important role in establishment of oxidativc phosphorylation. We report the expression analysis of mouse two-cell stage specific genes using modified mRNA differential display. The results of sequence analysis and reverse northern blot indicate that the genes for ATPase 6 and Ywhaz are expressed just in 2-cell embryo.
