The value afforded to organizational learning (OL) has increased exponentially in recent times. For a start, it is acknowledged as being integral to the development of a firm's human capital. This in turn helps generate positive effects on such as performance, competitiveness, and creativity. Financial results can benefit too, as might employee belief in their personal ability. Different scholars note the role of individuals as "key agents" of OL who transform information acquired into valuable knowledge. Such knowledge is then stored, managed, distributed and utilized as appropriate.
