Educa??o em saúde no tratamento hospitalar pela fisioterapia: relato de experiência

Orientations are essential to prevent complications during and after hospitalization. This study aimed to report the experience of implementing two projects in the south of Santa Catarina to use guidance as a strategy for education, prevention, and treatment in hospitalized individuals. The activities were implemented in the ward of the Regional Hospital of Araranguá, from March to December 2019, allowing the monitoring of 243 patients. Follow-up was carried out through screening, evaluation, and intervention through guidelines that included information regarding care, provision of printed material, and activities to promote body movement. It is expected that the actions of these projects have contributed to the students' academic education and the provision of services to the community, including the reduction of complications related to bed rest during and after hospitalization.
