The chloroplast genome sequences of Dianyuea turbinata (H.J. DongandH. Peng) C. Shang, S. LiaoandZ.X. Zhang, endemic to Yingjiang County, Yunnan Province, China, was presented in this study (Dong and Peng 2013 Dong HJ, Peng H. 2013. Flacourtia turbinata (salicaceae: flacourtieae), a new species from Yunnan, China. Phytotaxa. 94(2):56–60.[Crossref], [Web of Science ?]?,?[Google Scholar]; Shang et?al. 2017 Shang C, Liao S, Guo Y-J, Zhang Z-X. 2017. Dianyuea gen. nov. (Salicaceae: Scyphostegioideae) from southwestern China. Nord J Bot. 35(4):499–505.[Crossref], [Web of Science ?]?,?[Google Scholar]). The chloroplast genome sequence was 154,045?bp in length, with a large single-copy (LSC) region of 82,247?bp, a small single-copy (SSC) region of 16,522?bp, separated by two inverted repeat (IR) regions of 27,638?bp each. The total GC content was 37.1%. The complete plastome sequence contained 134 genes, including 89 protein-coding, 37 tRNA and 8 rRNA genes. The phylogenetic status of genus Dianyuea has been clarified through a Maximum-likelihood tree based on the chloroplast genome of 17 species.
