Intracranial Mycoplasma hominis infection following emergent craniectomy

We present a case of a young healthy female who developed recurrent cranial wound infections after a traumatic injury, the etiologic organism finally identified asMycoplasma hominis,an uncommon and difficult to isolate bacterium.
