An efficient method for precise segmentectomy of the right inferior lung

With the popularization of low-dose CT (computed tomography) screening in high-risk groups of lung cancer, more and more GGO (ground glass opacity) and small pulmonary metastases have been found. In this case, pulmonary segmentectomy was beneficial for case diagnosis and radical resection. Compared with wedge resection, it can ensure the adequate margin around nodule. Besides the prognosis is similar to lobectomy and pulmonary segmentectomy can retain more lung tissue.
