Status of anti hepatitis-B titre in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia during treatment– experience from a tertiary cancer centre of South India

Children with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at higher risk for developing hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection due to multiple blood trans- fusions and probably HBV reactivation of occult HBV infection due to immunosuppression secondary to chemotherapy. This prospective study is aimed to evaluate the change in status of anti-HBs titre and seroconversion to vaccination in children with ALL during chemotherapy.
