The advent of deep enteroscopy with the support of capsule endoscopy has given impetus to the diagnosis and therapy of small-bowel diseases, especially in relation to GI bleeding and Crohn’s disease. 1 However, deep enteroscopy still has a few limitations, such as the difficulty of fully exploring the small bowel and inaccurate measure of the enteroscope insertion depth.
