Kinetic images constitute a base of the efficient teaching the students how to do gymnastic exercises. The purpose of this work is the grading the level of kinetic images of the AWF students carrying out basic gymnastic exercises during practical and competition. The level of kinetic images the students carrying out basic gymnastic exercises turned out to be unsatisfactory, what we can see looking at the very low grades during practical and competition. Out of 15 analyzed exercises 14 were executed with severe technical errors. We drew up the components of the educational technology of shaping the kinetic images during the initial stage of gymnastic exercises teaching.
