To date, the 2019-coronavirus disease (COVID-19), hasclaimed more than 1.4 million deaths globally, and isundoubtedly the greatest public health catastrophe ofour times (1). The adverse effects of this pandemic onthe mental health are already being well documented,with a recent study demonstrating that one in five COVID19patients are diagnosed with a psychiatric disordersuch as anxiety or depression within three months oftesting positive for the virus (2, 3). This situation is furtheraggravated by disruption to the provision of services tothese people in the community (4).
