Sistema de Apoio à Gest?o de Cursos de Gradua??o à Distancia: Relato de uma Experiência na SEDIS/UFRN

RESUMOO artigo apresenta um sistema de informa??o implementado na Secretaria de Ensino à Distancia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte - SEDIS/UFRN, para gerenciar as informa??es que comp?em o planejamento do semestre letivo. A metodologia adotada foi uma adapta??o do ciclo de vida tradicional do desenvolvimento de sistemas de informa??o. A estratégia de pesquisa foi um estudo de caso da utiliza??o do referido sistema, durante o planejamento do semestre 2013.1, nos cursos de gradua??o a distancia da SEDIS/UFRN. Como resultados, ressalta-se que a solu??o é capaz de apoiar a gest?o, sobretudo às informa??es que v?o compor o Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem - AVA, a agilidade na reprodu??o do material didático, além da distribui??o aos polos de ensino. ABSTRACTThis article presents a information system implemented at the Distance Education Secretariat of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte – SEDIS/UFRN, to manage the information that make up the planning of the semester. The methodology used was an adaptation of the standard information systems development lifecycle. The strategy of research was a case study of the use of this system, during the planning of the semester 2013, in the distance learning undergraduate courses at SEDIS/UFRN. As results, it is pointed out that the solution is capable of supporting the management, especially the information that will build the Virtual Learning Environment – VLE, more agility in the production and printing of learning materials, as well as its distribution to centers of learning.
