Ieoh Ming Pei is a modern world-renownedarchitect witha large number ofexcellentarchitectural works worldwide.His architecturaldesign inherits the traditional architectural conceptand integrates theChineseandWesternarchitectural ideas,which does not stick to stereo-typeand conventions,and dare to innovate,producing a significant and profound influence onChina and even the world's architectural industry.This study introduced the background of Ieoh MingPei (hereinafter referred to as Pei or I.M.Pei )'sarchitectural design concept,analyzed Pei's conceptfrom the perspectives of "tradition combined withmodernity" and "art integrated with technology",discussed the influence of Pei's design concept onmodern landscape architecture design in terms of"art law"and "connotation emotion",andexpounded the function of Pei's concept onlandscape architecture design,which is of greatimportance for landscape architecture design andhas a place in the powerful world.
