摘要

This study was carried out to determine the effect of different bacterial strains on yield and yield components of chickpea plants grown under field conditions in Mardin province of Turkey.A chick-pea (cv.Azkan) seed was inoculated with five differ-ent Rhizobium strains (namely 18,29,88,522 and 620).The field experiment was designed as random-ized plots with three replications.The grain yield,shoot weight,nutrient concentrations and plant height values were obtained at harvest.The inocula-tion with different bacterial strains had significant effect on shoot nitrogen and potassium contents.The grain yield inoculated with different Rhizobium strains ranged between 2752.2 and 3621.4 kg ha-1.Clearly highest yield parameters were observed when chickpea was inoculated with Rhizobium strain no 29,however with no statistical differences com-pared to the other treatments.
