This study was conducted to assess the effects of organic fertilizers on yield and some yield components of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).Field experiments were carried out under supplemental irrigation conditions in Harran Plain during 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 growing seasons. The fertilizers tested in the study were poultry manure, compost, cattle manure, chicken manure + liquid fertilizer, compost + liquid fertilizer, and cattle manure + liquid fertilizer. The results of combined ANOVA for two consecutive years indicated that cattle manure + liquid fertilizer treatment significantly increased the grain yield, plant height and 1000-grain weight. The highest mean grain yield (463.05 kg da-1),1000-grain weight (48.81 g) and plant height (93.60 cm) values were obtained from cattle manure + liquid fertilizer application. The results revealed that combination of organic and microbial fertilizers increased the grain yield, plant height and 1000-grain weight at a rate of between 50 and 56%.
