摘要

In this study,the landscape suitability assess-ment was used to quantify and map the relationshipsbetween landscape functions (agriculture produc-tion,recreational tourism and mineral resources ex-ploitation).Obtained results can be treated in twoways.The greatest potentials for conflict are ob-served inthe multifunctional landscapesofBranicevo District,where the mapped landscapefunctions carry high values.In the same way,the val-ues obtained by determining the degree of suitabilityreflect development opportunities,and indicate ter-rains most suitable for the development of agricul-ture production and recreational tourism.The meth-odological approach is based on the combined appli-cation of the Relative Relief Evaluation Method andv-Wert method.GIS data processing produced syn-thesis maps,which presented spatial units,groupedinto categories with values conditioned by the heter-ogeneous landscape structure.Spatial units indicat-ing high and conditionally high level of potentialconflict between agriculture production and recrea-tional tourism occupy an area of 16.01%,while spa-tial units where high and conditionally high level ofpotential conflict between all three landscape func-tions occupy 4.91% of the district.The most suitableterrains for agriculture production development oc-cupy 23.17% of the area,while the spatial units indi-cating terrains most valuable for recreational tourismdevelopment occupy 7.43% of the study area.
