摘要

The aim of the study was to determine the gen-otoxicity of chlorothalonil and glyphosate potassium salt.Increasing use of these pesticides makes it necessary to determine their possible adverse effects on humans.Chlorothalonil and glyphosate potassium salt were administered in three different concentrations (Glyphosate potassium salt: 0.6 mg/L,0.12 mg/L,0.24 mg/L; Chlorothalonil: 0.03 mg/L,0.06 mg/L,0.15 mg/L) to human lymphocytes.An alkaline comet assay was conducted and T ail DNA Percentage parameter was chosen to demonstrate DNA Damage.According to our results,glyphosate potassium salt has a considerably harmful effect on geno-toxicity.DNA damage was significantly higher in all glyphosate potassium salt groups when compared to the control group.Chlorothalonil,which is generally considered to be genotoxic,did not cause any significant DNA damage.
