The study aims to analyze the long-term relationship between the telecommunications infrastructure development and economic growth in ASEAN, due to the dynamics of the telecommunications that run very fast in the world community. It will be known the influence on economic growth, whether it is a priority in the economic development of a ASEAN nation. Using annual time series data from ten ASEAN member countries for the period 1986-2015, GDP growth and the growing of telecommunication infrastructure is analyzed with Johansen Cointegration Test. The result show that a longterm relationship between telecommunication infrastructure development and economic growth is exist in each ASEAN member country. Therefore, if a country desires to promote economic growth, it is necessary to apply a particular policy to facilitate investment in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.
