Artificial intelligence augmentation isincreasingly incorporated in the medical and healthcaresphere, especially in the pathology arena of Bloodtransfusion, Biochemistry, and Hematology, towardsdetecting and analyzing diseases and disorders. Hence, it isimportant to understand the implications of artificialintelligence on humanity with the pathology's innovationpractices. The pathology laboratories and hospitals need toincorporate artificial intelligence into specific functions andsub-functions of result-oriented specialties to createeffortless healthcare activities. This study was undertakenwith selected pathology laboratories and healthcareorganizations in Bengaluru that have access to digitalinitiatives and artificial intelligence into their businessprocess for the last three years and examine the performanceon three result-oriented functions in which artificialintelligence is incorporated. This article studies on thepotential competencies of artificial intelligence augmentationand builds awareness in the healthcare sector on thecapabilities of augmenting the right intelligent systemsenables in streamlining the activities carried out in thepathology lab and exhibits that on what organization needand how technological advancement and innovation helps inimproving the organizational performance and notifies that ifthe performance improvement measures are followed withcontinuous update and maintenance, only then innovations inhealthcare result in success.
