Risk factors of late-onset postpartum pre-eclampsia in women without hypertension history: To whom should we give take-home messages?
Hypertension is regarded as a fatal event during pregnancy, which leads to risk of mortality in both the mothers and babies. Be- sides hypertension before delivery, more evident clue has pointed out a number of pregnant women are likely to continue to suffer from unstable and fluctuating blood pressure after delivery, many of whom have never encountered hypertension before. 1 Specifically, a new-onset hypertension after 2 days and less than 6 weeks after delivery is referred as late-onset postpartum pre-eclampsia (LOPP).
