Analysis of prognostic risk factors in 3427 patients with invasive ductal carcinoma of breast: Results based on the SEER database

Breast cancer contributes to the highest cancer incident rate in the female population and accounts for a quarter of total cancer cases globally. In 2018, a total of 18.1 million patients worldwide were diagnosed with cancer. Among these patients, the number of breast cancer patients exceeded 2.1 million, whereas the number of breast cancer associated deaths was 626,000 cases. 1 In a variety of breast cancer pathological types, Invasive ductal carcinoma is the most common breast cancer subtype.
