Dr. Todd died on November 30, 2009, at the age of 77. He received his medicaltraining at the University of Cambridge and St. Thomas’ Hospital Medical Schoolin London and his surgical training at the University of Toronto. After spending ayear in England studying surgical transplants and pediatric urology, he returned tothe staff of Toronto Western Hospital where he performed one of the first renaltransplants in Toronto. Dr. Todd was a past chairman of the Ontario MedicalAssociation Section on Urology, a past chairman of the Urology Section of theAcademy of Medicine, and a Past President of the Ontario Medical Associationbefore moving his medical practice to Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Todd leaves behindhis wife Jill and her sister Margaret. In Britain, he leaves his sister and brother-inlawFiona and George Donaldson, and nephews Graham and Neil. His childrenCarolyn, Allison, Jamie, Fiona, Douglas and Alexandra will cherish his memory.
