We are pleased to submit a response to the Letterto the Editor you have received from Klementet al. on our study “Ketogenic diet treatment asadjuvant to standard treatment of glioblastomamultiforme: a feasibility and safety study.”1 Wethank them for their interest in our study. In theirletter, they comment that their major concern isthe prescription of a highly artificial ketogenicdiet (KD) over 6weeks that could have negativelyinfluenced the overall survival (OS) in our study.Regarding the OS, we agree that it was lower thanaverage reported results, but we expand furtheron this point. However, we disagree with many ofthe other points raised.
